Nature of the Service

Wetzel County Released Inmates organizes links and general instructions for public custody, release, court, supervision, and facility resources in Wetzel County and West Virginia. It does not store official files, certify a custody state, release anyone, post bond, or submit a government record request for a visitor. Some pages connect visitors to third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming another person or the site's operation.

• Do not violate any local, state, or federal law.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or endanger another person.
• Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited eligibility decision.
• Do not seek unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data.
• Do not run automated scrapers, bots, or bulk extraction tools.
• Do not disrupt access or interfere with other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and its advertising partners do not provide such a service through this site. You agree not to use any content or linked result for:

• Hiring, firing, or another employment decision
• Housing or tenant screening
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to release records, sheriff or corrections sources, courts, legal-aid resources, government locators, and third-party search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, price, terms, or availability. Review its rules before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, current, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose; that access will be uninterrupted; or that a partner search will be thorough. Custody states and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from a sheriff or government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

Ownership of Site Material

Original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Wetzel County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, redistributed, modified, or republished without written permission, except where law permits.

Suspension of Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice, especially when conduct threatens the service, another person, or legal compliance.

West Virginia Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in West Virginia.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
